I was referred to Dr. Levinson by another doctor for excessive watery eyes. Prior to seeing Dr. Levinson I had expressed my discomfort to my ophthalmologist for several years. The only advice I was ever given was to scrub my eyes, use artificial tears, and basically get over it as it happens with age. Age I say? Hey I’m only 45!
Fast forward to my experience with Dr. Levinson, and his great Technician Jammie, I was actually HEARD for the first time. The diagnosis? Dry eye… Who knew that my watery eyes were actually dry! Turns out that my eye lid oil glands we congested which prevented the tears from doing their job essentially. I had a couple procedures done that day, given a bag full of “eye goodies”, and some take-away’s to do at home. I woke up this morning and my eyes feel great! My vision is not cloudy (I guess I got used to cloudy vision) and get this – my eyes have not watered once today! It may seems like a small thing, but if you live with flowing/streaming eyes all day it is quite an issue so I am thrilled to finally have relief.
Not only was my problem addressed, but the staff was exceptional. I had to take a work call after right appointment and the staff made sure I had all I needed. That’s above and beyond. I can tell the Dr. and Jammie love what they do, oh and Jammie has the most upbeat energy with tons and tons of knowledge.
I would highly recommend this team. If I could give 20 stars I would.
Let me start by saying I do not take the time to write reviews unless I am extremely dissatisfied or highly impressed.
In this case it is the latter. I can’t say enough about the entire office and the outcome of my visits. The staff is so kind and helpful. They do their job with pride and genuine warm. (Thank you Jamie, Estie, Jaime and Adrianna) In life we know how everything trickles down from the top, which brings me to Dr Brett Levinson. He impresses me each visit with his demonstrable desires to help resolve his patients’ concerns/problems. He has been the only doctor (out of 4) who has made a remarkable change in my eye health. I am a nurse and a patient, I see first hand that in todays medical practices some doctors “put on” that they care and some forget why they became a doctor in the first place. That’s why going to Specialized Eye Care to see Brett Levinson and the staff is always a pleasure. He will tell you that his goal is to give old fashioned care with modern technology. I believe he has accomplished his goal in a marked degree and I could only hope that his approach to practicing medicine will catch on throughout other practices.

Equally important for any potential patient considering a visit to Dr. Levinson is to know how extremely professional the entire staff is at this practice. I’m so appreciative of how accommodating Dr. Levinson’s staff has been for securing last minute appointments and helping me with insurance questions.

I love this place. I would recommend this place to anyone-by far the best eye care place I’ve been to! Jamie and Dr. Levinson helped me regain vision after I’ve scratched 95% of my cornea. The environment here is amazing and the staff cares about the health of your eyes! I’m so glad I’ve found this place and will continue my eye care here.
